Going to go back and try on sunday, still early and the water was ice cold, sunday is daylight savings so it will start warming up and plus next week the temps are going to be high 60's.

Colin's first real day of fishing
I fished hardcore tonight, almost for an hour, air temp was 43 but the sun made it feel a ton better. Fished only 3 lures tonight, Jackall Giron, Strike king premier spinnerbait and a castaic baits hard head swimbait, no bites although i do believe i saw a small bass strike at my spinnerbait right at the shoreline.

Dreaming of fishing
Well, ice is here but not stable, most likely will not step in ice this year. Had a friend go today and he said ice was only 4 inches thick and caught no fish. I have been getting my containers ready for fishing and getting poles all lined up, bought a new reel today and will be buying lots of line here in a couple of weeks.

No ice in sight
It's suppose to be 50 degrees tomorrow. Our normal high this year is in the 20's. I truly see no ice in sight for a little while. Suppose to get cold again this weekend but that's it. Winter only has two months left and we haven't seen a fish for two months. Fishing fever is getting bad.
